I place a lot of value on my relationships, both personal and business. When it comes to business relationships, I value genuine interactions with people in my industry as well as those with completely different experiences than me.
I make a purposeful effort to point out the positive. Yes, I’m there to fix something and make it better. But what’s already going well? I almost always start my reports and presentations pointing out the positive.
When it comes to hiring an inexperienced digital marketer, your dollar costs may be low, but your other costs (time, risk, quality) are high. When you hire someone experienced, your dollar costs are higher but your benefits and value are too.
Live chat is exploding. (Chatbots are too, but that’s a whole different discussion.) Businesses are installing live chat on their websites and support portals. There are tools out there that make it easy for anyone to implement live chat affordably. In many ways, it’s great. We as consumers want on-demand information and immediate responses. We live in a world of instant gratification, after all.
